Immigration & Visas

Skilled Migrants
The skilled migrant program is for those who hold the skills, qualifications and
experience of high demand occupations in Australia. This is a permanent
residency visa based on a points test system. To pass the points test, you will be
evaluated on specific criteria such as your age, qualifications, employment and
English ability. You are not required to secure employment or be sponsored by an
Australian employer. A skilled migrant visa may take between ten to eighteen
months depending on how quickly you are processed through each stage.

You can also use our Eligibility Form to see whether you pass the points test.

Sponsored Employment
If you have an Australian employer willing to offer you employment and
sponsorship, you may be eligible to apply for a temporary or permanent working
visa; namely the 457 Working Visa (Temporary), Employer Nomination Scheme
(ENS) or Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (RSMS). Contact us now to find
out more information about which visa would be most suitable for you / Click
here to download our Working Visas PDF for more information.

Partner/Family
You may join your partner or relative in Australia on a permanent visa. Your
partner or relative must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident willing to
sponsor you. There are a number of considerations and evidence you must
provide to be eligible for this visa category. Partner and family visas are normally
processed between ten to twelve months.

Visitor Visas

There are a number of other short-term temporary entrant visa types available.
This includes visas which enable people to remain in Australia for tourism,
business travel or working holidays. If you are unsure about which visa type
might be best suited to your individual needs, contact us now for advice

Business & Investor Visas (keep?)

Business people and investors can take advantage of Australias business visa
program. These visas are for people who wish to establish a new business in
Australia or manage an existing business or invest in Australia. This is consistent
with Australias aim of attracting people with demonstrated record of business or
investment activity who are committed to using their business and/or investment
skills in Australia. The list of visa application charges (VACs) can be downloaded
