REASONS AND EXAMPLES OF FOLLOW THE

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES,ALSO WHAT TO DO TO
ENSURE CHILDREN`S SAFETY.
Children should be able to play and experience lots of activities.
Health and safety should help them to discover the world around them
safely , not stop them.
It`s important that children learn to understand and manage the risk, that
are a normal part of life.
Health and safety procedures should always be proportionate to the risk of
an activity.
Staff should be given the training they need,so they can keep themselves
and children safe and manage risk effectively.
The Teachers including Headteachers should safeguard children as part of
their professional duties.
All school and college staff have a responsibility to identify children who
may be in need of extra help, or who are suffering, significant harm.
All staff have a responsibility to take appropriate action, working with other
services as needed.
Health and Safety laws are there to protect all of us from workplace
dangers!!!
