What did I do?

The AWANA Clubs

I work with children ages 5

to 8 as a leader in Bible
studies, counselling, and
games. I started
volunteering as an
assistant leader, but now I
manage my own group of
children. It is really
interesting to listen to
childrens perspective,
because their observations
differ greatly from the
adults. It was also a great
place to practice my
English speaking, since I
have no pressure talking to
little kids.

I volunteered in the Tiny

Hessel Church. The
children in the class were
in preschool; they were
more difficult to control, so
I worked with three other
volunteers. We would read

of their questions, and do
