7000 Saudi Riyals Per Month a Good Salary in Riyadh?

Is monthly basic salary of 7000 SAR good enough for a fine standard of living in riyadh? I am married
and having 2 kids. The offer is 7000 SAR + 25% of basic as accomodation allowance + 10% as
transportation allowance. Please suggest.

i would recommend that you negotiate a 50% housing, 20% trans. and what about health insurance?
but anyways, out of these 7000 - if you want to offer your kids a proper education - you might only
save 2000 riyals MAX.

The last known exchange rate that I know of as of December, was 375 SAR= $100.00 USD. Do the
math!

if u r an asian, surely u can save money after all yur exp & maintaining yur family here.
family flat cost(in indian-pak localities) around 15000 sr.
gas- 15 sr
electricity with all the home appliances & a/c will b around -100 sr
food for single - 800 to 1000 sr (for food lovers)
transportation is cheap if u have yur own car. otherwise its costly coz' taxis charge a lot hre.
u can save money coz' threz no entertainment outside. u can only shop shop & shop(ya! some nice
parks r thre)
education is a bit costly. for one kid monthly exp in indian-pak schools can cost u atleast 500/- sr ( for
elementary) & school bus 500/- sr
i hope mediacal coverage is thre for yur family. otherwise its so.....expensive hre. a single doc fees is
atleast 80-100 sr.medicines r very costly. if thrz medical coverage, u'll hardly spend 20 sr per visit.(free
medicines)
WELCOME to saudi. u can save loads of money if u stay single hre. but its so....................boring w/o
family.
