My product line, Sleek and Spiffy, is a line that
aims towards women from the ages 17-30. This line
consists of classy but casual lounge and work wear. The
fabrics I used are cotton blends, polyester, spandex, and
satin. Neutral colors are primarily used as well as dark
colors. After graduation, I plan to attend UNLV to work
towards a bachelors degree in international business.

Jacqueline Becerra-Luna
My product line, Reine de Vogue, translates
to queen of vogue. Vogue is a prevailing fashion at any
given time. I was inspired by the fashion capitals of the
world. Fabrics used are pleather, knit, linen, polyester,
cotton blend, and lace. My designs incorporate black
and purple. I plan on majoring in marketing for I want
to work in the business aspect of fashion. Fashion has
always been a part of me and I want to continue with it.

My product line, Misunderstood, is based
off of the Disney movie Maleficent. This is a childrens
line with various purples, reds, and freens. I added
accessories such as wings and horns. I used heavy
fabrics, hoods, and flowering detailing. I chose to
name the line Misunderstood because the character
Maleficent was the epitome of this word. I want to go
into the field of psychology and become a counselor.
Estefania Cervantes
Current Meets Future Leader was inspired
by one of my favorite artists, St Vincent. It was based
on the colors and fabrics that she likes to play with
and wear. Fabrics I used were mostly all dark and
metallic-looking. I wanted each to make a statement just
like she makes statements in her music videos and outfits.
I hope to continue to inspire people, show them that
with a little paint and imagination, anything is possible.

My product line is called Hephaesto whose
inspiration is the fusion of technology and the
environment. Each outfit is designed to be ready-to-wear,
and each is subtly based off of a grand feat in
engineering. Pieces are structured and minimalistic
to reciprocate clean lines of modern architecture.
I plan on pursuing graphic design after high school.

Avery N. Christiansen
Frosty Fashions was inspired by my niece,
Maja, and her love for the Disney movie, Frozen. Since
my line is for children, most of my pieces are cotton
so they can be comfortable and cute. The color
palette is inspired by the movies setting and characters.
This is a crucial part of my line because colors in the
movie, such as Elsas blue dress, are iconic. After SWCTA,
I plan on going to college and majoring in marketing.
Brianna R. Cole
My product line is titled Timeless. It was inspired
by the 50s and major icons from around that time period
such as Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe. I utilized
satin and lace in the development of my outfits. My
color scheme consists of cobalt blue and silver. My line
is designed to give a timeless look, some modern flare.

New York Citys Light was inspired by the beautiful city of New York. I chose colorful fabrics mixed with
cool tone colors (red, gray, orange, black, and yellow)
to represent the citys lights in the winter. I chose to
work with wool and satin to make my collection fit with
the winter theme and yet still look sophisticated. After
I graduate, I would like to study fashion design or art.

My line, Calvary Me, was inspired by French
horsemen in the 1700s. My color scheme is red, gold, and
royal colors. I used very thick wool fabric to represent
the strenth of the horsemen and flowing velveteen-type
fabric to represent the majesty of the horse. After high
school, I plan to enter the University for Cinematic Arts.

My line, Mind the Gap, is a play on the London
subway sign reminding passenger to mind the gap.
My inspiration is the city of London during the fall.
My outfits are girly with a slight edge and are made
for adventurous teenagers. It has a very care-free
and lively vibe for girls who are ready to take on the
day in the bustling city of London. After graduation,
I will be attending UNLV, majoring in psychology.

My product line, Queen Bee, was inspired by
bees. The line is business casual. I went with the colors
black and yellow because they complement each
other and also deviate from the boring colors of normal
business wear. I used fabrics like twill, wool, cotton, knit,
jersey knit, and crushed velvet. After graduation, I want
to graduate from college, travel, and eventually take care
of my Aunt Suzie. I can do nothing but give her my best.

My product line was inspired by the show
Gossip Girl. The main characters, Blair and Serena,
inspired me with their girly yet sophisticated looks. I used
cotton, spandex, and felt. I chose these fabrics because
they are comfortable, warm, and easy to work with.
My color scheme was adapted from outfits that the
characters wore. It includes reds, purples, and blues. After
graduating, I am planning on getting a degree in business.

Pavo is the scientific name for a peacock.
These birds are incredibly majestic, and I felt heavily
inspired by them. I looked deeply at their feathers
and fell deeply in love with the teal color inside them.
So I created my line after the peacock, using their
feathers, colors, and shapes as inspiration for my designs.
I used shades of teal to accent black and grey. After I
graduate from SWCTA, I want to continue designing.

My product line is called Soft Autumn.
Each of my outfits, except for one, are single colored
articles of clothing that can be worn with anything.
My color scheme contains soft fall colors: lavender,
carnation, dusty rose, peachy nude, and ice blue paired
with a black piece of clothing. In each outfit, I use either
black velvet or black silk paired with a soft fall colored
fabrics. After graduation, I will study special fx make up.

My product line, JAdore, is based off of
French fashion. I was aiming for a semi-casual yet
classy look. I chose red, black, or white stretch knit
fabrics, satin, fur, and fleece. My biggest inspirations
are Vanessa Hudgens, Kylie Jenner, and Blair
Waldorf. After high school, I will be attending UNLV.
Madeson K. Moritz
Rural Goes Retro was inspired by the
silhouettes of the 1960s and the colors of The Little
House on the Prairie.The outfits are casual flowy dresses,
fitted loose trousers, and a silky formal dress. The color
scheme is muted natural tones like sea foam green, stale
blue, forest green, and beige. The line is mainly made out
of breathable fabrics like cotton, polyester, and silk. After
high school, I will go to UNLV for a journalism degree.
Victoria Ortega
I created Dawning Silhouettes to reflect
winter mornings. The colors in my line were
chosen to represent the sky, shadows, and fog during
this time. I used light blue, pink, purple, gray, black, and
off-white colors. The fabrics I utilized varied from faux
leather, knit, polyester, and other home fabrics. I aspire
to create my own business with my artistic abilities.

My product line is called Belles Touches which
means beautiful touches in French. I wanted my clothing
line to reflect me. Each outfit is slightly casual and also a
little bit dressy. I have incorporated recurring themes: pinks,
purples, brown, and black and bows and ruffles. After
high school, I plan on continuing to learn fashion design.
Mad for Plaid is a ready-to-wear line
consisting of a plaid theme. My inspiration for plaid and
design came from one of my favorite bloggers, Daniela
Ramierez. I love how she would pair and wear plaid. In
my designs I went for street syle and a color scheme of
blue, red, black and white. I used a lot of poly/cotton, poly
wool, and polyester. After graduation, I plan to attend
the Fashion Institue of Technology for fashion design.

The aesthetic of my line, Pretty Defiance, takes
conservative styles and adds modern elements that
represent the liberated fashions of the 21st century.
Pretty Defiance is the literal sense that girly and cute
colors can be used to display and rebellious persona. I will
be attending UNR in the fall. My aspiration is to build on
my talents and discover ways to creatively show the world
my unique point of view to ultimately achieve success.
Eunice A. Torres
The Wilted Flower was inspired by the colors
of flowers when they begin to wilt in the fall. For this
reason, I chose different shades of purple and pink to
represent the last bits of life seen in flowers. The darker
green colors can be seen as the stems and leaves. I mostly
used polyester for the fabrics and little bit of jacquard for
the formal outfit. After graduating from SWCTA, I aspire
to travel to different countries and lead a successful life.
My product line is a reflection of my fashion
sense and what Im aiming to do as a fashion designer.
My inspirations are trendy fall colors such as burgundy,
oxblood, and black. My outfits consist of cotton, lace, and
silk. Cotton and silk are manageable and easy to work
with, and lace is a wonderful fabric that give the outfits
a beautiful flowery design. After graduation, I aspire to
be a self-made woman that is inspired by many people.

The product line I showcase tonight is called
Nightfall. My inspirations come from the night sky,
dim lights, and a mystrious atmosphere. It consists
of comfortable every day wear, a sleek line. The
fabrics used within these garments are types of polyester,
sports wear, cotton, vinvyl, and rayon. The color scheme
is a mix of navy blue, dark red, green, and black.

My line shows a slice of life in a steampunk
world. I was not only inspired by the steampunk culture,
but also my love for story telling. Each outfit in my line
tells the story of a different character, tailored specifically
to their needs, from the bold colors and tough knits of the
inspiring inventor to the clean and rich satin designs of
the formal gown. After graduation, I aspire to work with
costumes that will give life to characters on the big screen.
Zhe Zhang
My line was inspired by nature. Out of
five outfits there are three dresses, a coat, a jacket, a
shirt, and a pair of pants. The fabrics of these outfits
were made out of cotton, denim, and corduroy. My
color scheme for the line are autumn colors such
as blue, orange, grey, and white. And lastly, I will pursue a
bachelors degree in fine art after graduating high school.
