04BATTERY CHARGING
Ifthe battery has never been used, ois charge
is doploted, tmay be charged by connecting the
Battery Charger, as shown inthe llusration, to
the EXT DC Jack If only 12-16 Volt OC power
is available, the optional DG Adapter (with ts
elgarate lighter plug) may also be used for
charging the batoy.

Paullthe [DIAL] knob to unlock the mechanical dal lock, then rotate the

specific persons or groups. In this case, use the
selective call allows you to ignore unwanted cals
from other persons who are using the same

LIGHT(LCD ILLUMINATION ON/KEYIOFF)
LUV.AR includes a reds iluination lam which
aid in nightime operation. The red lluminaton
yioles clear viewing of the display in a dark
fenvronment, wth minimal degradation of your
night vision. Three options for actvating the lamp
are provided

is priory, That means in the FM radio mode, when the signal come,
the transcolver will automaticaly ext the FM radio mode.
FM RADIO SCANNING
In the FM Radio mode, press [FIA] button, then press
TMENU/LOCK] Key to scan the complete band. Clockwise of
counterclockwise rotation of { DIAL] knob to scan the band from low
{high or from high to low. When searches the certain channel, the
