Psychomotor Behavioral Objective: Students will participate in a group


activity. In this group activity they will participate in a jump rope activity.

Students will be sitting at the


center of the gym quietly waiting
for instructions.

Divide the class into two groups by counting off by 1,2.


- Once students are given their number they will go to the
DePaul teacher that will have help out with each group.

There will be a DePaul teacher at each side of the gym holding a


paper with their number, either 1 or 2. The other two DePaul
teachers will help out by walking around and monitoring.

I will be keeping everything in


order and will work to quickly get
the students into their groups.

Both groups of students will form a circle with the DePaul teacher at
the center. The DePaul teacher will have an extra long jump rope
with her.

The DePaul teacher will spin the jump rope in a circular motion.
The students will have to jump when they feel the jump rope is
coming to them to avoid being hit by the jump rope. When a student
is hit by the jump rope, they will need to individually jump rope.
They will count ten jumps the join the larger group.

The DePaul teacher can spin the jump rope in any direction
they like.

The DePaul teacher will start spinning the jump rope slowly
and will increase speed but will not spin the jump rope
excessively fast.

A group at a time will be told to quickly and quietly get a drink of water
then they will line up by the door.

I will be walking around to


complement students and also
the helping DePaul teachers.
