Dress Policy:

Students will be required to wear proper athletic attire for each class. Students must
wear sneakers in order to participate in class.

Attendance Policy:

Since this is an activity-based class, all students are required to attend every
scheduled meeting time. ATTENDANCE WILL BE RECORDED! Students are
able to miss one (1) class period without penalty. Additional absences will
result in a deduction of one full letter grade per unexcused absence. The ONLY
excused absences are University sponsored activities. The University
organization which is sponsoring the activity must provide information to the
instructor information about the function (e.g., date, time, purpose of function)
prior to the student's absence. Any other absence is considered an unexcused
absence.
If a student has prior knowledge about missing a class period, he/she must
inform the instructor, in writing, with at least 24 hour notice. The instructor
will consider these absences on an individual basis but these absences MUST
be made up in a reasonable time or the student will receive a deduction in
points towards the final grade. Students are required to show up on time. Two
(2) tardies will be counted as one unexcused absence.
