COURSE GOALS
Developing a knowledge of residential building construction by analyzing specifications and working
drawings
Estimating time and materials needed for the construction of a residence
Developing an understanding of estimating methods and time analysis for a typical construction
sequence
Developing systems for the storing, maintenance and updating of reference materials for the purpose
of costing and scheduling.
