Are you ready for the 2015 Middle School Service Plunge?
Once again CtK is partnering with Hope Lutheran Church for this
exciting weeklong day camp, July 6th-10th. Each day youth will
meet at the host congregation (CtK on T/Th; Hope on M/W/F).
Well have an opening time of worship and introduction to the day,
then head to various ministry/service sites (Gods Garden, Gallatin
Valley Food Bank, Family Promise Day Center, etc.) for the rest of
the morning, where we can make a difference in our community.
Well return to the host congregation to enjoy our sack lunches and
then spend the afternoons with games, Bible study, and other fun activities. Youth
will be ready for pick up at the host congregation at 4:00pm. On Friday, July 10th,
after a morning of service and learning, well head to Bogert Park, where well
have lunch, swim and have a great last afternoon, and parents can pick youth up
from Bogert at 4:00pm. Its going to be great!
Cost for the Service Plunge is $55/youth, and includes a t-shirt and supplies for
the week. Full and partial scholarships are available, please contact me if you
need financial assistance. Youth should bring a sack lunch with them each day,
as well as a water bottle that can be refilled. Wearing clothes that can get dirty
and sunblock are also advised. Were hoping for sunshine!
A registration/medical/liability form is enclosed. Please return it to me with your
registration fee (cash or check made out to CtK with Service Plunge in the
memo line) as soon as possible. If youre planning to participate, please sign up
sooner than later, as the number of participants registered affects our planning.
Friends are welcome, just let me know youre extending an invitation and Ill get
you another registration form!

We also need parents or other adult chaperones/drivers to make this week

successful. Well need multiple drivers to transport to service sites, etc., and extra
adults at service sites and host congregations are always helpful! Parents, please
let me know how youd like to help, and if you have any questions.
