I will increase the number of using activities in class room into 3-4 activities , through each lesson
that I will teach with grade three students in Osama Bin Zaid School during my teaching practice
in semester 1, year 4.
Objectives
Increase students English skills by preparing chosen activities that I trust it is improve
students writing, reading and listening skills in the classroom. From my experience, using
benefit activity in class can help student to improve his English skills. For example give
learner work sheet to teach them how to write complete sentence. (Jeremy Harmer's Theory o
Motivation, nd)
Using different strategies and approach is a result for helping students to increasing their
English learning skills in the class room. From my experience using surmising strategy to
improve reading skills because surmising let students to read whole article to found what i
important and put it on their own words. (Jean Piaget: Cognitive Development in the Classroom, 201
Choosing activities that can help the learners to raises their self-esteem in class room. From
my experience finding thing student are really good in help to increase his self-esteem and
not be shy or unsocial. (Jean Piaget: Cognitive Development in the Classroom, 2011)
Focusing on some activities that I can use to help students to building solid relationship
skills in the class room. From my experience having good relationship between students he
to having lesson with easy understanding. (Kolb's Model of Learning Styles , nd)

I will ask teacher which type of English skills students are not good in or which skills they
have to improve it and then I will focus on this type of English skills and prepare many
activities about it.
I will `prepare writing activity to help learners improve their writing skills. Like: giving
student picture and ask him to write complete sentence to describe this picture.
I will use reading strategies ti increase student reading skills. Such as preparing suitable
paragraph to student level and ask them to read and answer the work sheet.
I will use speaking activity to improve students English talking in class. For example using
dissection strategy and let students to talk about topic, like: type of clothes we wear it in
seasons.
I will chose 3 students who are weak in writing, 3 students who are weak in reading and 3
students who are weak in speaking then I will write note about each one after having activ
in class.
