How is bulletproof clothing made?

The main idea of this paragraph is to find out how is bulletproof clothing made. Mycenaean of the
sixteenth century B.C. and Persians and Greeks around the fifth century B.C. used up to fourteen
layers of linen(madehow.com). This supports my thesis because it tells that the idea of
protecting your body existed for many hundreds of years. In other words, Mycenaean of
sixteenth century B.C. and Persians and Greeks around the fifth century B.C. used up to fourteen
layers of linen. This is connected to the next paragraph because it tells in earlier times what
they used which was linen to make bullet proof anything.
The main idea of this paragraph is to show the evolution of body armor. When a 16th century
European blacksmith finished making armor that was impervious to firearms, he fired a shot at
the breastplate, denting it. (Rob Lammle). This supports the thesis because they are no longer
a use of light armor, fire arms were invented and it revolutionized the culture of war and
violence. Consequently, When a 16th century European blacksmith finished making
armor that was impervious to firearms, he fired a shot at the breastplate, denting
it. It was armor which actually worked, soldiers could trust their country because
they had a form of protection, it would work in their favor when it was war time. This
is connected to the next paragraph because it will show the revolution of fire arms
and body armor. It will show how much it has evolved over time.

The main idea of this paragraph is to explain what it took to improve such
body armor. Although the soft body armor used by soldiers and law
enforcement officers helps protect the wearer from projectiles, it often
requires so many layers of Kevlar to be effective that it loses flexibility.
(www.eng.umd.edu). This supports the thesis because it tells how much that
they used more Kevlar to withstand the penetration of a heavier fire arm.
However, soldiers and law enforcement used basic protection but they had to
improve the armor as fire arms started to improve as well. They had to find a
way to protect the human body from firearms that increased in power and
bullets that increased in size. They added more layers to withstand such
power. This is connected to the next paragraph because as the firearm
evolves the body armor also evolves.

The Main idea of this paragraph is to explain what Kevlar is. Kevlar is
the registered trademark for a para-aramid synthetic fiber. (google.com).This supports
the thesis because it describes what Kevlar is. To put it differently, it is a strong thin
material used for many things, one of them being the bullet proof vest. Kevlar is also
used to create lightweight for the soldiers wearing it. It is used for soldiers who get
fatigue during mobility. Fiber is five times stronger than steel in an equal weight-basis. It
protects against grenades and knives. This is connected to the next paragraph because
it tells one of the major things used to create body armor that can penetrate bullets from
all types of guns & even knives. Bullet proof vests have evolved to the point where they

even deflect knives and grenades. Not only can it withstand that but it also protects
against fire and explosives.
The main idea of this paragraph is to show the other types of bullet proof vest
that exists. Soft vests are made from many layers of woven or laminated fibers
and can be capable of protecting the wearer from small-caliber handgun and
shotgun projectiles, and small fragments from explosives such as hand grenades.
(en.wikipedia.org). There are three types that exist. The bullet proof vest, the

ballistic vest, and the bullet-resistant vest. The first type of vest is the Covert
Vest, which is usually light in color and designed to be thin as possible. Made to
be worn unnoticeably under clothes. Second type of vest would be the Overt
Vests which are designed to be worn over your clothes. They are mostly the
color black. This support the thesis because it shows there is more than one
type of bullet proof vests made for different purposes. In other words, there are
more types of bulletproof vest depending on the situation and purpose you are
using it for. This is connected to the next paragraph because it leads to my next
point of the purpose for each vest exactly.
The main idea of this paragraph is to tell the purpose of each vest. Which vest
is right for me? This is the most important questions you need to ask when
purchasing body armor, because it can literally be a life or death
decision.(safegaurdarmor.com).This supports the thesis because it is a good
question to ask when dealing with firearms and body armor. If you dont have
the correct knowledge behind the vest of your choice, it can have a bad result.
The two main types are the covert and overt vest. The covert which is worn

under clothes would be more thin and vulnerable to heavier projectiles then the
overt vest which is worn above the clothes. Both used for protecting the upper
torso but, have the different purpose of protecting the body from different type
of firearms. In other words If you would have got the Covert vest and were going
to get shot by an assault rifle you probably wouldnt survive, but had you used a
stronger vest like the overt you could. This is connected to the paragraph
because it will lead to my next question of who actually invented the first bullet
proof vest and why.

The main idea of this paragraph is to find out who invented the first bulletproof
vest. Casimir Zeglen. Kazimierz egle (Casimir Zeglen), born in 1869 near Tarnopol (today
Ternopil, Ukraine), invented the first bulletproof vest.(google.com). this supports the thesis
because its the person who created a revolution of protection. In other words it words without
him so many more people would be dead and dying as we speak. He was from the Ukraine, but
in 1890 moved to the United States. It saved the life Alfonso XIII, the King of Spain -

his carriage was covered with Szczepanik's bulletproof armor when a bomb
exploded near it.
