Nungesser has a Plan to Keep Taxes Down and Revenues Up

Opposes Lawsuits to grow Louisianas Economy

(PLAQUEMINE, LA) Billy Nugesser announced today his plans to grow Louisianas
economy by opposing legacy lawsuits and improving the oil industry.

I think we have an opportunity to stop whats already out of control. Unless the people of
Louisiana want their taxes to double or triple, they better rethink these lawsuits.

Plaquemine Parish is one of the hotbeds for legacy lawsuits. Nungesser, as former
Plaquemine Parish president, knows how these lawsuits can destroy an economy. Unlike his
opponent, John Young, he openly opposes legacy lawsuits because he wants whats best for
Louisiana in the long-run. Legacy lawsuits have already resulted in a loss of almost $10.5
billion in economic output, 30,000 employment opportunities in oil and gas activities and
supporting jobs and over $1.5 billion in wages for those directly and indirectly employed by
oil and gas companies. Nungesser isnt afraid to stand strong on the tough issues.

Billy Nungessers experience as a small business allows him to make the tough decision on taxes and control
spending which led Plaquemines Parish to have a surplus every year he was president. He is creating a long
term plan for coastal restoration that would bring federal, state and private resources together to rebuild and
stabilize our levees. Nungesser has been to Washington. He has been to Baton Rouge. He has the ability and the
drive to lead Louisiana. Billy Nungesser will fight for Louisiana.
