The difference between a 2D and 3D sculpture is the shape. 2D sculptures are flat and
you cant really see around it. For example a drawing on a paper of a simple smiley face would
be 2D. A 3D sculpture is way different then a 2D because it can be shown on paper of all the
sides and can also be hand made and symmetrical. An example would be a clay cup. My favorite
lesson was the paper relief sculpture. Its my favorite because it was simple and a creative
project. Also because I felt very confident and I put a lot of work into. The technical skills I
learned is how to recycle things and use that to build something really fascinating. I also learned
how to be crafty and use exacto knife which is very sharp. What I learned about myself is that I
could use objects around me to make something very cool instead of just throwing it away. My
experience in this class was very compelling because I never could never see myself being
creative.
