Reflection
(Minimum of 3-4 sentences per question)

1. Briefly describe the field

experience. What did you learn about
technology facilitation and leadership
from completing this field experience?

I learned that the use of technology

was useful in teaching an ELL
student. The use of technology
reinforced the information the
student learned in class and help
make connections she could
understand.

2. How did this learning relate to the
knowledge (what must you know),
skills (what must you be able to do)
and dispositions (attitudes, beliefs,
enthusiasm) required of a technology
facilitator or technology leader?
(Refer to the standards you selected in
Part I. Use the language of the PSC
standards in your answer and reflect
on all 3knowledge, skills, and
dispositions.)
This learning related to what I must
know by connecting differentiating
strategies with ELL students. In order to
teach ELL students it is important to use

technology to connect prior knowledge

with new knowledge and allow students
to connect to their primary language.

3. Describe how this field experience

impacted school improvement, faculty
development or student learning at
your school. How can the impact be
assessed?
This field experience did not directly
connect to my school environment.
Currently we do not have any ELL
students. Indirectly this field experience
is like any other. It is about adapting a
lesson to fit the needs of your students.
Whether the student is ELL, SPED, or
gifted all lessons need to be
differentiated for the needs of the
students. To assed the impact of the
lesson I could go back and assess if the
information I taught was retained and if
she is applying in to other areas of
learning.
