I completed the two years (ending 9-1-1).

Quick notes:
F1, F2, F3, and F4 were assigned via the (H)otkeys menu to go to different
parts of the fort. F1 will go to the entrance.
The titan is still held in the area with the bottommost trade depot, which also
includes the empty walled off space connected to it by the stairs.
Theres an odd bug where caravans will arrive, drop all their crap off and
immediately leave without allowing trading.
Session started June 11, 2015. Fortress inherited on the date of 7-01-01.
Current population of 50 dwarves and 37 livestock.
Care shall be taken as to not ruin everything.
The unassigned nanny goat and Yak cow have been assigned to an outside
pasture.
Dwarf Mikot Gidthurled appears to be starving himself to death.
On 7-01-10, an elven caravan from Enina Cayi has arrived. Among other
things, they appear to be trading a female rhinoceros and an armadillo sow.
There appear to be no non-wooden trade goods that we can use, so nothing
was purchased from them.
Fruit gathering zones have been designated under a few trees.
On 7-01-27, migrants arrived, numbering 18 in total.
Construction begins on a reworked entrance, bridge, and new bedroom
facilities.
On this date of 7-02-03, Minkot was found dead.
A hospital zone is being set up near the meeting area, and the for-now idle
newcomers have been put to work laying floors and building walls.
Work has begun on expanding the existing bedrooms.
A Fishery worker has been possessed.

He claimed a masons workshop and demands among other things, cut gems.
A jewelers shop was built quickly to satisfy the needs lest the unassuming
fishery worker goes berserk.
Some of the worksdwarves appear to be becoming quite proficient at their
endless tasks, as the number of materwork announcements increases day by
day. It is truly amazing what masterpieces they can make out of otherwise
questionable ingredients.

Truly amazing. I look forward to the garbage cocktails they will make in the
future.

Artifact get.

A penning area for the various fowl we have accumulated. The doors are
forbidden for now to keep dwarves from harvesting eggs before they can hatch.

A human caravan from Aquovdor arrived on 7-04-15.

I was curious to see what path they would take to get to the depot, and they
ended up like so:

A new mayor was elected almost as soon as the traders unloaded. Also, more
microcline.

A farmer got stuck in a tree when gathering fruit. No idea how.

Autumn has come and construction is nearing completion on a general food


production area.
A caravan from a dwarven civilization and an outpost liaison arrived on 7-7-16.

Oh.

No thanks.
Unfortunately, the fire-y bastard set fire to a tree or two on his way to the
fortress.

The drawbridge was pulled up after all sane citizens returned to the meeting
hall. There is nothing to be done about Miner Ingiz Domasbabin, but the
dwarf was insane and likely to be found dead at any moment anyway.
I hope he doesnt plan on becoming a ghost and haunting us any time soon.

Fortunately the titan seems fairly weak.

Stream summary:
Channeling brook into the indoors finished.
Attempt to kill titan failed miserably and titan has been walled off in the old
trade depot area, which includes the empty (similarly walled-off) space below
it.

Outside area that was scorched when the titan was chasing the livestock is
recovering. Luckily the southeast corner is mostly untouched.
The first case of cave adaptation, and the culprit circled in red. Luckily the
vomit washed away later with the copius amounts of rain we get on this
mountain.

Looks like we will have our first dedicated blacksmith soon.


The artifact finished without a hitch, and the dwarf is now a legendary
metalsmith. He created a copper door of some sort called The Creation of the
Sun
A human caravan arrived on 8-04-12.
The caravans arrived at the depot, but left after the broker arrived at the
depot (?).
More migrants arrived on 8-04-25. They numbered a mere 7 in total.

Lovely. I didnt get announcements for half of them.

Whoops.

I appear to have accidentally forbidden everything the caravans were carrying,


which is why they left immediately... leaving all of their crap at the depot. Uh
oh.
Having trouble with the game crashing while designating structures.
A caravan and outpost liaison from Stukos Nalish have arrived on 8-7-13.
As soon as the broker was called, the caravan dwarves dumped all of their

goods off in the corner and left immediately. Nothing was mass forbidden this
time, is it the fault of the broker?

More migrants arrived on 8-7-22. The new arrivals numbered 7 in total,


bringing the population to 95.
Primary construction of walls around a surface farm of seven 7x7 farm plots
has completed. Now the ash must disappear before the plots can be built.

He ended up creating an almandine animal trap, which is viewable in the forts
in-game artifact page.
A good portion of the ash has disappeared on the ground inside the enclosed
surface farm, but there is still too much left behind.

A gruesome battle with the local langur population prompts an interesting


declaration from Zasit the Woodcutter.
9-01-01 has arrived.
