Planning data
Group & Group counter are keys defined in the Routing Master for the Material in the Plant.
Use the same Group & Group Counter so that the Routing is selected in this Production
version '1000'
Bill of Material
Alternative BOM if there are no. of BOMs then specify which BOM needs to selected.
BOM usage depending upon usage, one can specify for particular Production version,
which usage needs to be used.
After entry of Routing & BOM details, we can check for errors, if any.

group counter / Alternative BOM / BOM usage.

After creation of production version, following screen will be displayed

After Clicking 'Continue', following screen will be displayed in Material Master.

If one needs to create one more production version for the same material, in material master, in
MRP 4 / Work Scheduling view, click on ProdVersions. Production version Overview screen is
displayed, click
It will again take to production version creation window.
One can have 'n' no of production versions for a material.

3. PROCESS GUIDELINES
While creation of Production order, one can specify which Production version needs to be selected,
so that correct BOM & Routing is assigned to Order
Follow procedure defined:In order creation screen, go to Functions Read PP master data

If there are no of production versions available, press F4

Select the appropriate Production version, in same order creation screen, Master data tab, the
selected version will appear.
