I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Michael Sass. Mike spent the
2013/2014 school year in my 8th grade social studies classroom at Haslett Middle School
as an observer and co-teacher. He was involved in a unique senior year placement
program at Michigan State University. He played a major role in the continued success
of this program.
Mike had an excellent year in my classroom! As an observer, small group mentor, coteacher, and lead teacher, he took on a wide range of classroom responsibilities. His
actions exemplified a true concern for all learners. In regards to lead teaching and coteaching, Mike tried different approaches to lessons and always welcomed my feedback.
Mike is an excellent candidate for consideration to any position/program. He is positive
and has worked cooperatively with peers and instructors. Mike truly cares for students
and their well-being. I am happy to give Mike an enthusiastic recommendation! If you
