As this is your first lesson it is a good idea to familiarize your Ss with the books
and also to explain to them what each one does and how you are going to use
them. Then continue with the cover page and generate discussion using the
ideas mentioned there. Start the lesson using the ideas from the pre- reading and
then do the text. Explain that the Ss must read the text quickly. When you finish
with the text ask the post reading questions.
Do the vocabulary and the grammar exercises in class. If the Ss need further
details about the grammar part turn to the grammar reference part.
