Hello and good morning to you. This is Holly and Jodie Lee from
AnyTimeTunes radio. We have two very special guests for you on the
show this morning. Up first we have an interview with the one, the
only Carol Decker everybody. We will be talking about her new album
and upcoming tour. And to follow that, we are lucky enough to have
the front man of the up and coming local band Area 52 rose Reymi
will be in the studio talking to us. We will be chatting New Music
on the way future plans , and upcoming gigs !
On other news One Directions Liam Payne is said to be getting
married. The One Direction star has been friends with Sophia Smith
since they were children and its thought things turned romantic in
late 2013. He has since been open about how much she means to him,
even tweeting about how much he misses her when he is on tour.
Liam and his bandmates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan
are currently on a break from their On the Road Again Tour, and he
has been spending time in Los Angeles.

Furthermore, Kanye West has accepted an honorary doctorate degree.

The 37-year-old musician rose to fame after releasing his The
College Dropout album in 2004. On Monday he was presented with an
honorary doctoral degree from School of the Art Institute of Chicago
(SAIC), a higher learning institution located in his hometown.

today !
Carol Decker is the lead singer from the 80s hit sensation band;
Tpau. Tpau was formed in 1986, they started by sending recording
companies their demos. They first released their hit heart and
soul which initially only made the charts is America but then
became popular in the UK before they released their most popular
song China in your hand. This had a huge success, remaining as the
UKs No. 1 for five weeks. Since then they have released a lot of
other songs and produced five other albums.
In 2013, the band had their 25th anniversary and they went on a 28date tour around the UK.
Carol has just released her new album Pleasure and Pain and is here
to talk to us about it today, she is live in the studio:

Hi Carol, its great to have you here, thank you for meeting us
today. So youve got your new album out. Tell us about it.
Yeah, weve been listening to some of the tracks on your new album
and have noticed a distinct difference to some of your older songs.
What inspired you to mix up your sound and what influenced the
change of this new album?
Are you looking forward to your upcoming tour with Nik Kershaw after
the recent cancellation of your previous tour due to illness? Are
you feeling up to it now?
Where has been your favourite place to perform during your career so
far?
So you are performing at Rewind this year that will be amazing, are
you exited? Are you planning on making your set list predominantly
based on your new album or are you going to be performing some old
stuff as well?
Do you still feel nervous when performing live?
What can fans expect from you in the near future?

Area 52 was formed in 2013 at a young talent event , it is made up

of 5 band members. Rose (bass+vocals), Katie (rhythm guitar), Cat
(lead guitar), George (lead guitar) and Max (drums). The band have
played at Sub 89 , and the are you listening festival. They have also
been played on Radio 1 recently. They write original tracks of a Rock
style and have established a very well-known name now in the
Berkshire area.

nothing, mad hatter, and their main it . carry on. What do you
want is their latest single and they have just released a music video
for it with a whoping 10,180 views on you tube already !

1. So Rose, Area 52 is getting quite a solid fan base behind

itself now right? Thats so cool! How long has it taken to
build it up?
2. Whats the main means of promotion you use for the band?
Like do you find it effective to have the base of social
media to share your music and gigs?
3. And Have you Got a lot gigs coming up? Any big ones we
should go to?

quite difficult for you to get gigs for is it not so much
of a stuggle now ?
