Research Design: Research Design is the master plan specifying the methods and procedures for

collecting and analyzing the needed information.

Research design is the conceptual structure within which research is conducted. It constitutes the blueprint for
the collection, measurement and analysis of data.
According to Kerlinger:
Research design is the plan, structure & strategy of investigation conceived so as to obtain answers to research
