hobbies has an impact on student achievement and this is why this tool is student centered. The
differentiate instruction is adjusting questions of what the students get right/wrong and
narrowing it down to the underlying misconceptions. It provides adequacy for teachers to
provide assignments and quizzes that are generated according to each students interest. There is
a color coded heat map feature that help teachers, students and administrators to see the
progress for each student. Educators can also view students homework and quiz scores.
According to the ISTE Standards for Teachers it is to facilitate and inspire student learning and
creativity. Teachers use their knowledge of subject matter teaching and learning and technology
to facilitate experiences that advance students learning, creativity, and innovation in both faceto-face and virtual environments.
Pros and Cons (150-250 words)
(Explain the pros and cons of using technology to differentiate instruction. Be sure to
justify rationale with research.)There are many Pros and Cons to differentiate instructions. One
Pro is that it is a way to teach that look at each individual student in the classroom. Others
Pros is that, it customize ways for each student to learn at his/her own paste and ability with
instruction to do so. This decreases the tradition way of teaching and brings it into another
strategy to teach in the classroom. This opens the door to bring in different tools for different
learning styles and different personalities. Each child is taught to their learning style, each
student has an individualized learning plan, the teacher has creativity, No Child Left Behind,
and there is flexibility. The Cons of differentiate Instruction is that there is a tougher work
load for teacher, time constraints, children learn at different paces that make cause the entire
class to be held back, and a lack of schedule. Some teacher dont function well without a rigid
schedule to stick to.
