Light

Matthew 5:13-16

You are the salt of the earth.

But if the salt loses its
saltiness, how can it be made
salty again? It is no longer
good for anything, except to
be thrown out and trampled
underfoot.

You are the light of the

world. A town built on a hill
Matthew
5:13cannot be hidden. Neither do

Salt
Preserves
Gives flavor
Believers in Christ
are preservatives
to the decaying
world.
Followers of Christ

Light
Rids off
darkness

Presence of
Christians in the
world must be like
a light in the
darkness.
The Word of God

In todays world its

a lot
more
difficult.
Whats hindering

the our
generation from
fulfilling our
roles?

Why is it so difficult?
1. Distractions
everywhere.
2. Compromise
everywhere.
Progressiveness is the
way to go.

What do we do then?
1.We put God first.
2.We go back to our
ultimate authority, the
Word of God.
3.Focus on others, love
others, put our energy

Only by remaining
focused on Christ
and being obedient
to Him can we
expect to remain
salt and light in the
world.
