This assignment is from SW 3510. This assignment fulfilled Competency 2.1.4.

This assignment
was very interesting; I was required to me to inquire about the history of my family. I found out
the origin of my family. I discussed our culture and ethnicity at great length. I discussed of value
for education with in my family. My history began with my Great great grandparents and worked
my way to me. This was an informing and fun assignment. Competency 2.14, gain sufficient
self-awareness to eliminate the influence of personal bias and values in working with diverse
groups; recognize and communicate the importance of difference in shaping life experiences.
Throughout this assignment I was able to apply this competency.
