Description of how to implement in the class: As the relationships of the angles and ratios of sides of special right
triangles are introduced to the students, a set of Quizlet cards will be developed to support students learning. These
cards will be added to the classroom blog so students will have 24/7 access to the information. With the game
component feature within Quizlet, students will have a variety of ways to identify and use special right triangles as well
as how to calculate various lengths in geometric problems.
The teacher can use the cards as a pre-assessment tool when introducing the concepts to the students and/or as a
post-assessment tool as the theme/topic is finalized. As the relationships of the angles and ratios of sides of special
right triangles are introduced, students will easily extend their practice sessions as the new sets of cards are added to
the classroom website. These cards will also support remediation and review of the various lengths of special right
