STUDENT RESEARCH PROJECT SUPPORT SCHEME

glad to announce the launching of Student Research Project Support Scheme


in our Group of Colleges from this academic year 2015-16.
1. Projects will be funded twice in an academic year i.e., July December 2015 & January
April 2016.

Funding Pattern:
A maximum of 10 projects each costing Rs. 5000/- to 10,000/- will be funded in each
college based on merit. At least 1 Project per Department will be funded.

3. Submission & Selection Procedure:


a. Projects will be submitted (in the prescribed Format) by a Group of students with a
Faculty Guide.
b. Each Dept. will submit a max. 3 proposals
c. Projects will be selected for funding based on the evaluation by a ARS Coordination
Committee
d. Students will give undertaking that project will be handed over to the College
e. Projects will be presented in the 2nd week of July (Friday/Saturday; 1.00 to 4.00pm)
f. Committee Members will give their recommendation thro portal (Recommended/ Not
recommended)
g. Funds will be released immediately for the selected projects
h. Academic hours should not be disturbed for projects. Saturdays and after-working
hours should be used
i. Project Duration 2 months
j. The Committee will test/evaluate the projects after completion and submit Report
(150 word)
k. After completion, the Guide has to submit the relevant documents and settle the
account.
