Welcome Address / Opening Remarks:

Guests, Nurses from and around Ozamiz City, ladies and gentlemen, it is my
pleasure to welcome you all to our first ORNAP event of the year 2015 centered on
the topic Wound Care, its guidelines and pathways. But before we dive into the
topic allow me to share some few not-so-painful things about wounds:
Sabihin mo
Youre stare is like a sharp pointed objectits penetrating my clothes.
I would rather have DEHISENCE in my pocket than have an ULCERATED
brain!
I wish that you all will be enlightened, refreshed and guided by the discussion today
on how we should take care of the various kinds of wounds we encounter every day
at work, through the standards and clinically tried and tested means of ensuring a
fast and safe healing.
Good morning and have a fruitful Saturday.
Closing Remarks:
Nurse participants, guests, ladies and gentlemen, this is the time when we must
suture what has been cut, and close the program.
We from ORNAP are glad of your coming here and we are optimistic that you have in
some way gained from our discussion and lecture today on what a competent and
caring nurse must know about how to provide wound care for our wounded patients.
We are hopeful that you will once again join us for the upcoming seminars and other
activities focused towards widening our view, improving our skills and updating our
knowledge on the extensive areas of our nursing profession.

We thank each and everyone who joined us, and those who helped in making this
event yet another success for ORNAP and the nursing profession in general. Thank
you, mabuhay and God speed.
