SolidWorks software for students is downloaded from a SolidWorks website.

The software will work only

with a WINDOWS operating system. You will need to register with SolidWorks as part of the process. Be
sure to enter your OSU name.#@osu.edu when filling out the registration page, and to download the
correct bit-version (32 bit or 64 bit) that is compatible with your Windows operating system. BE SURE
TO SELECT the 2014-2015 version during the registration process.
Below is a 24-character code for you, and you only, to use for ONE installation of release 2014-2015 of
SolidWorks to a personally-owned computer. The code will not work with previous, or later, versions. By
software agreement, you may have only ONE INSTALLATON on your personal machine in support of
your academic efforts while at OSU; so any previous version must be uninstalled. The software should
then operate for 365 days after installation and activation, or September 30, 2015, whichever is earlier.
Research use is not allowed under current licensing. Also, the software must be removed from the
computer of any student who graduates or otherwise leaves OSU.
Users also must abide by the SolidWorks End-User-License-Agreement shown during installation.
