This means teams are randomly selected and players receive essentially equal playing time regardless of ability, Players will be contacted by their coach as to when practice begins (mid to late August and Match). SEASON: AGES: NCYSC currently registers players from age 4 through age 13 (on July 31 prior to the fall season). Teams are divided into age divisions: U-14 (under 14), U-12, U.9*, and U-6. Age divisions may be adjusted depending on number of players registered. U-6: Teams are coed. U-9: Separate boys & girls teams play intramural in Nebraska City, U-12 & Ul4: Teams will travel to surrounding cities for half of the games. Team size is limited, Please use specific registration form, Playing up: ‘The NCYSC generally discourages playing above the players age level but recognizes there are particular circumstances when “playing up” may be appropriate. Players within one year of the next division may be allowed to “play up” upon the written request of their parent/guardian explaining their individual circumstance, PLAYER'S EQUIPMENT: The only equipment required are the NCYSC reversible jersey {@vailable at Thurman's Bike and Sport), and shinguards. Exposed plastic shinguards must be covered with socks.
