I am writing to request a donation from your business in support of a

fundraising initiative to raise money for a gift to Newport High School
on behalf of the Classes of ’96, ’97 and ’98.

On July 31, we will hold our class reunion at the Newport Syndicate. In
addition to soliciting cash donations from alumni, we will also host a
raffle to raise additional money for the Class Gift Fund. A donation from
your business would be greatly appreciated, as we would include the
item in our raffle. Other businesses have donated gift certificates as
well as actual physical products.

The deadline for all donation submissions is July 1, 2010. To recognize

your generous contribution, we will print an acknowledgement of
thanks for your business in our reunion program. Our tax ID number is
27-1824200.
