Outsourcing of the provisioning and maintenance of wiredline broadband - reg.

I request you to kindly recollect the discussion that our Union had with you yesterday the 07.07.2015, on
the subject. During the discussion, our union expressed our opposition to the outsourcing of the
provisioning and maintenance of wiredline broadband, since it will render a sizeable number of TTAs and
Telecom Mechanics surplus. We also expressed grievance that the Management is taking unilateral
decisions on such crucial issues, without even caring to ascertain the views of the Union on the matter.
In response to our representation, you informed us that the Management will hold a discussion on the
issue shortly with the Union. I sincerely thank you for offering to hold a discussion on the subject. At the
same time we would like to request you to hold the meeting expeditiously, and without any delay, so that
the matter can be sorted out amicably.
