o Once we checked the positive influence of integrating Ipad to education we have
found that using touch pad is increasing students motivation, easing the taking
notes process, improve the quality of the work of the students and teachers
presentation, give chance students and teachers to collaborate more and improve
the reading experience.
o It is one of the largest studies on the use of iPads in education. 6057 students and
302 teachers participated in this study. The study is trying to understand the
benefits and the challenges of using IPads in education.

Roy, N. (2013). The iPad in Education: uses, benefits and challenges. A survey of
6057 students and 302 teachers in Quebec, Canada.
o We would like to integrate iPads in our school curriculum and this study
shows that using touch pads in education benefits overweight the
challenges.
o School administrations and our IT Manager visited the school using
iPads as part of the curriculum and shared their observation in meeting
and pointed out the importance of having a policy both for teachers and
students to adapt the program in our school.
curriculum is a perfect example for our school that how curricular goals have an
influence on technology goals.
2. How will technology be used to create more powerful learning experiences to
improve student academic achievement?
As Frey, fisher and Lapp (2015) evaluated at the end of their study on using iPad
in diverse urban high school if technology used well, it can be one of the most
powerful way to engage student. Of course engaging student in learning process is
the first and the most important step for student success. Especially in urban
education how to involve student in class is a big problem. Since our school has
almost the same type of study body, it is expected to achieve more by integrating
technology in instruction.

High School: A Formative Experiment. Reading & Writing Quarterly, 31(2), 135150.
Describe goals and an implementation plan, with annual activities, to address
Internet Safety and the appropriate and ethical use of technology in the
classroom.
1. What LEA board policies will be or have been developed to implement
Internet safety instruction?
All students agree not to post personal contact information about himself or other
people. Personal contact information includes home address, telephone number,
school address, work address, parents names, or other information that someone
may use to locate that student.
Students will not agree to meet with someone they have encountered solely
online.
progress toward the specific goals and make mid-course corrections in response
to new developments and opportunities as they arise.
(Answer at least 2 questions for each subsection below)
Describe the process for evaluating the plan's overall progress and impact on
teaching and learning.
1. Who will participate in the monitoring and evaluation process?
Principal, IT Manager, Data & Testing Coordinator and Dean of Academics
will evaluate and monitor the process. They are responsible to check and give
necessary support to staff. It is important for them to get reflection from
teachers, students and parents to understand if plan is working or not.
2. How will the LEA know whether implementation of this plan has made a
positive impact on teaching and learning?
There should be a mechanism to understand if the plan is making positive
impact on students success. First and the most important indicator would be
students grades in current courses. Data Coordinator could easily compare
students last year performance with current year. State test results are the
second criteria to see if there is any positive impact of the plan. Last by not
least, survey should be given to teachers, students and parents to get their
feedback on how they feel about the chance in the school. Careful evaluation
of such a survey will be another source for us to check the progress.
Describe the schedule for evaluating the effect of plan implementation, including
a description of the process and frequency of communicating evaluation results
to tech plan stakeholders.
1. How often will data be collected and summarized? Who is responsible?
In the very first year of the plan each quarter the data should be collected and
summarized by Data coordinator and Dean of Academics. Since state tests are
giving only one time in a year, benchmark test results should be used to evaluate
the process. Second and third year data collection and summary will be done each
semester.
2. How often will the status of plan implementation be reported to the LEA
superintendent and the stakeholders?
Since the school is a district by itself, the reporting will be given to the school
principal and stakeholders annually by Data coordinator, Dean of academics, and
IT Manager.
