SAMANES PARK

National Area recreation Samanes, which has a total area of 860 hectares, including
the protective forest Cerro Colorado, was born the project "Generation and restoration
of green Areas for the city of Guayaquil - Guayaquil ecological", to meet the
commitment of the national Government to ensure the adequacy of more green spaces
and healthy entertainment for citizenship.
The Samanes park covers 860 hectares, which ranks it among the largest in South
America; It is located in Samanes (North of the city of Guayaquil), in the Francisco de
Orellana Avenue with Narcisa de Jess avenue.
SEGUNDO
The first stage covers 47 hectares, of which 14 hectares are already open to the public.
The 57 sports fields for different disciplines are used at any hour of the day, to have a
fun time with friends and family.
The synthetic soccer fields are the most sought after by amateur athletes.
The soccer fields are divided into 18 adults and 16 children; There are also 5 volleyball
courts, 4 basketball, 2 tennis courts, 2 of handball and 10 multifunctional.
Visitors can also find a children's play area, where the more children can have fun.
A free outdoor gym with treadmills and playground, where users work with your own
weight body, making series and forming routines alternating with machines.
The Samanes Park not only complies with the objective of providing green areas to the
city, but it will be a space that allows integrating harmoniously recreation family.
Education and sports you can enjoy now in a natural environment and with total
security.
The second phase of the Samanes Park is expected to start in November of the
present and will be concluded in July 2015. As part of this phase a shell acoustics for
the development of artistic events at national and international level.
The rest of the project will be developed in stages, which will be determined once you
have the final design, and that include, among others, an area of active recreation, a
site devoted to the canopy and extreme sports; an artificial lake with various aquatic
activities, spring; and a Scout animated. You will also feature a passive recreation area,
with ecological garden, gardens, squares and areas of recreation in the shade. In

addition, the Park will have a place for schools for Emelec and Barcelona clubs, and a
large area of forest reserve with hiking trails.
