Brief Description:
This assignment for The Exceptional Child is to write about my reaction and thoughts
after watching a video about an autistic persons struggle in life, which pertains to a chapter that I
had to read in the textbook.
Rationale:
To document my understanding of InTASC Standard 1, Learner Development, I learned
about certain behavior and symptoms that an individual with autism would have in the
classroom. Understanding the autistic patterns of learning and development will help me design
an appropriate environment for teaching these specific children.
