NOTICE
Applications are invited for the position of Guest Faculty in University Institute of
Pharmaceutical Sciences in the following subjects for the period from August to
December 2015 (Odd Semester).
Guest faculty in: Pharmaceutical Chemistry-2, Pharmaceutics-1 and Pharmacology-1

Walk in interview will be held on 06.08.2015 at 09:30 a.m. in the office of the
undersigned. No separate intimation letter will be sent.
Qualifications:
Essential:
A Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy with first division and M. Pharmacy Degree in
Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Pharmaceutics/Pharmacology with first division followed
preferably by Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Desirable:
1. Teaching, research, industrial and/or professional experience in a reputed
organization in the relevant subject.
2. Published work in refereed journals.
3. Papers presented at Conferences, Workshops or Seminars.
The above assignment is on lecture-basis payment of Rs. 1000/- per Theory lecture/
Practical of up to 2/3 hours with a ceiling on maximum monthly payment (i.e. not more
than Rs. 25,000/- per month). An applicant who is a research fellow, shall have to give
an undertaking on his appointment that he/she will not draw any fellowship/stipend,
or any other financial assistance from any government agency for the tenure he/she
works as a guest faculty, or he/she shall not claim guest lecture payment for the period
he/she draws fellowship/stipend/financial assistance from a government agency.
