McGill High Performance Camp

o I have participated with this camp during a weekend in May three times: once as a Camper,
Junior Camp Counselor, and Senior Camp Counselor. As a Junior/Senior Camp Counselor I
(along with someone else as a Junior Camp Counselor) was responsible for a team of young
adults throughout the weekend. This included accounting for their safety and making sure they

were well behaved throughout the duration of the camp.

Listuguj Youth Center Camp Counselor
o Spent the summer of 2009 as a cap counselor at the local youth center. This required monitoring
children in a wide range of ages and participating in activities with them.
Alaqsitew Gitpu School Educational Assistant
o Worked as a EA during the summers of 2010 and 2011 while school was in session.
Alaqsitew Gitpu School Bus Monitor
o Made sure children remained seated and well behaved between grades 3 and 4 after school and
also with children in Nursery (Pre-K) during morning runs.
Alaqsitew Gitpu School Sports Camp Counselor
o Co-coordinated a sports camp during the summers of 2011 and 2012. This involved planning
activities and working with children from grades Nursery to Grade 6.
Supply Teacher
o I have plenty of experience supply teaching classes of all grades, some for many weeks at a time.
Sackville Provincial Mini B Basketball Co-Coach
o I have co-coached a boys basketball team (grades 3-6) in Sackville, N.B. Duties as a co-coach
requires planning and running practices, attending and coaching games, and disciplining and

improving skills of the boys.

Mount Allison Womens Rugby Player and Social Chair
o As a social chair, I along with the rest of the exec must plan and organize the activities and
events associated with Mount Allison Womens Rugby. It is also the social chairs duty to make
sure every player feels included in the team by inviting them to activities such as team bonding.
Also I acquired a leadership role along with the other senior players of the team.

Casual Research Assistant

o For my current employment position, I, along with two other co-workers, had planned this years
Language Summer Workshop. Planning this event included, planning the events to take place
during the workshop, managing the budget, promoting the workshop, and many other duties.
Along with this position we are required to lead and instruct two high school summer students,
which included giving them tasks and keeping track of their work hours.
