Our school is located in the center of


Jelgava

History
Jelgava State grammar school was founded in 1922.
It has been located in several buildings.
During the World War II there was a hospital there and
some yeare later the school was burnt down.
1971./1972. School had the highest number of
students - 1696. (7- 18 years old)
Long time ago it was necesarily to wear school
uniforms.
Teachers lived in hostels next to the school.
It has been the state gymnasium since 2003.

Everyday Life at School


School starts at eight oclock and
finishes at 3 or 4 oclock.
Lesson- 40 minutes.
Teachers, students and parents use
e-class. (electronic reportbook, register).
Lunch- breaks- 25 and 30 min long.
