FSU Law School Application Checklist and PowerPoint presentation received feedback from peers. Professor gave me instruction to remove textboxes on the far right side of my checklist and add a nice graphic on the top of my genre to make it look professional. I'm looing forward to perfecting my third and final genre.

After receiving the feedback from my peers on how to correct and revise both of my genres, I made some changes to each. I changed the formatting on the FSU Law School Application Checklist from bullet points to numbers to show a chronological order of the steps needed. I also added certain dates and deadlines that would apply to certain bits of application information in this genre. Also, I bolded and highlighted certain things from draft 1 to draft 2 on the application checklist. I learned that there are certain formatting and design techniques you can incorporate into certain genres that gravitate and sustain the attention of your intended audience. (I will explain the specifics later in my rationales) In regards to the second genre, a PowerPoint presentation, I revised draft 1 to draft 2 by adding certain design dimensions with the intention of making the genre more approachable and aesthetically pleasing. Through the feedback provided by my instructor however, it made the genre difficult to comprehend because of the distracting colors. My professor also gave me instruction to remove the (what are supposed to be) textboxes on the far right side of my checklist, and add a nice graphic on the top of the genre to make it look professional. I was also recommended to change some of the information in my PowerPoint to not replicate directly from my application, but to add other informational things about the profile of a FSU law school student, and what is expected of them, and how to successfully become accepted in different situations. Im looing forward to perfecting my third and final draft!
