*Note: As the year goes on, Dojos may be added or removed. I want to
personalize it for each class. Also, we may calculate by percentages instead of
points to allow for students who have been excessively absent.

Negative Consequences: As we are training the children that are under our care, it is
imperative that we shape and mold their behavior. My prayer is to discipline in a loving
way that creates a heart change for each student. I want the children to understand
the importance of respecting and caring for others. These behaviors can be evident in a
variety of ways within the school day. Respecting others during class time is not being
disruptive so others can concentrate and focus. Just as I am not perfect, I know the
children will make poor choices. When that occurs I want to shepherd your child and
help them become a better friend, students, and example of Christ to others. I do not
want students to ever feel they have made a poor choice at 8:15 am so the rest of the
school day is hopeless. With that said, consequences will be based on point totals. For
example, if a student has less than 3 daily points at recess he/she will lose some playtime.
The following chart outlines points and consequences.

0-3 Points:

Loss of 5 minutes or 2 laps

-1- -3 Points: Loss of 10 minutes or 4 laps
