Note on 32bit versus 64bit: You only need the 64bit version, if you are using a

64bit Java VM. If you have to use a 32bit Java VM on a 64bit platform, please do
wnload the 32bit version of JCo. But you should always prefer the 64bit variant
on 64bit platforms.
Some JVMs offer both modes: 32bit as well as 64bit. In this case you need to sta
rt the JVM with an additional startup parameter to specify the mode. (Please con
sult the JVM documentation, usually these are options -d32 and -d64.)
