Rain Forest Webquest

Directions: Complete the following web activities to learn more about the destruction of
rainforests in Latin America and ideas of how to solve this problem. We discussed some of
the positives and negatives of tourism in Latin America. Go to http://www.eduweb.com/ecotourism/eco1.html to
answer the following questions and play the Ecotourism Game.
Part I
1. Define ecotourism.
2. Read through the rest of the situation. On the bottom of the page, select Lets try ecotourism. What is the first
issue that you need to deal with in regards to ecotourism in your community?
