August, 2015 Dear Pastor Garry & Pastor Steve, Christian greetings to you. | am happy to know that we have a mind to work together for the Kingdom, ‘There is so much to be done, we cannot do it alone. Working together helps us to be more effective and reach more people for the Lord. It also helps to bring love and unity between us, ‘As discussed with you, we will be having an evangelistic outreach in St. Jamestown, Toronto called FREEDOM FEST on the 29". August from 2 pm — 6 pm. St. Jamestown is the most densely populated area in Canada, consisting of eighteen high rise towers on one city block with over 30,000 residents. It is also has one of the poorest Communities in Toronto. Our heart and objective is to see many people in St Jamestown come to know the Lord, as the majority of the people are not Christians. ‘The event will be held in the open under three (3) tents in St. Jamestown. These tents will be used as follows: - Worship and Prayer Tent, Food and Drinks Tent, Back to School Tent, We have two Tents taken care of but we need help with the Back to School Tent, As the name suggests, the Back to School Tent will provide resources to kids as they prepare to go back to School in September. This includes backpacks, writing pads, stationary, clothing, footwear, lunch kils ete. Many families face great need during this time. We will be happy to partner with Durham Street Outreach to manage the Back to School tent for Froedom Fost 2015. This will involve Durham Stroot Outreach gathering resources through contributions for the Back to Schoo! Tent and managing the tent on the day of the event. This will mean having Ministry Workers (7 - 10) from your Ministry come to the event and be involved in the distribution of the items. Our Ministry will also be gathering School supplies for distribution and be helping in the distribution. You will be allowed to put up a sign over the Back the School Tent showing the name of your Ministry. You can also give out any promotional. Once you are involved, your Ministry name wil also be on the 1000 Fiyers that we are distribution. (| will send the flyer to you as soon as itis ready). Please let me know if this is something that Durham Street Outreach is prepared to do. Also, let me know if there are other ways that you believe your Ministry can help to make this event successful.
