VEEDER ROOT COUNTER

The Veeder Root Counter is

attached to the counter head
directly or by means of
remote cable. It allows the
operator to know the depth
of the tool string during
wireline operations as the
wire proceeds through the
counter head assembly. The
counter is available for
measurement in feet or
meters.

RIGHT ANGLE DRIVE

A right angle drive allows an
operator to separate the
Veeder Root Counter from
the counter head using an
odometer type cable. The
right angle drive unit can
also be used to change the
ratio between the counter
head and the Veeder Root
Counter.

KLEIN CLAMP
The Klein Wireline Clamp is
a lightweight, economical
grip designed for bare wire
applications. The clamp can
be used for manually
working the wire or
anchoring the wire during
various wireline operations.

8 COUNTERHEAD ASSEMBLY
A Counterhead Assembly is a device used for measuring downhole length of
slickline. The slickline is placed in the counter wheel groove while tension is
applied by the adjustable pressure wheels. The pressure wheels are adjustable
to exert the correct amount of force needed for an accurate measurement. A
veeder root counter may be attached directly to the Counterhead spindle or
attached remotely to display the downhole measurement.
