Job Description
Responsibilities:
1. Encourage high standards in all aspects of centre life and contribute to the effective and efficient management
of Kinder World;
2. Promote a centre culture that is happy, purposeful and productive;
3. Support and motivate children, learning and development facilitators and other centre employees;
4. Play a leading role in providing strategic direction of Lilys Kinder World;
5. Take a leading role in formulating and negotiating policies and procedures;
6. Take an active role in the promotion of good practice throughout the centre and ensure that Kinder World
policies and procedures are carried out at all times.
7. Meet with parents and guardians to discuss their children's overall facilitation experience and needs, determine
their priorities for their children, and suggest ways that they can promote learning and development.
8. Monitor staff performance, perform staff appraisals and assist with staff recruitment as required.
9. Help to maintain the general tidiness of the centre.
10. Maintain the centre accounts and prepare weekly and monthly reports of income and expenditure.
11. Maintain a database of all children, and staff at Lilys Kinder World including relevant parent/guardian details.
Knowledge/Experience:
1. Leadership and Management Experience as a leader/manager for three or more consecutive years, preferably
in an environment with responsibility for children and teachers.
2. Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal
services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of
customer satisfaction.
3. Psychology - Knowledge of human behaviour and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and
interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of
behavioural and affective disorders. Detail oriented.
4. Education and Training Administrative experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suit. Knowledge of teaching
and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects. Knowledge of the use of
self-directed play to facilitate learning.

5. English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and
spelling of words, and grammar.
6. Must be good with children and enjoy being around them for extended periods of time. Must be able and willing
to play childrens games.
7. Personal Character Must have a police certificate of good character

Hours of Work:


6: 00 am 9:00 pm Monday to Saturday (flexible)
