You will need to research and present your findings on the Australian Cameleers
in the 1800s, using an inquiry process.
Your finished project will be presented in class.

1. The presentation must include the following information:

Who were the Australian Cameleers?
How did they contribute to the development of Colonial Australia in the
1800s?
Point of view regarding their motivations and actions from the past and
present (What the Europeans of the time thought about them and what
historians of today say about them).

2. The information included in the presentation must be accurate and authentic,

documented from both primary and secondary sources, and conveyed using
historical terminology.

3. Each group will present their multimodal effort to the class in an interesting
and engaging way!
Your group may choose to either present orally or to have a voice over.
Remember to include maps, pictures and appropriate historical artefacts to
make the presentation effective.
