LIGHt CONVERT YOUR KTM RALLY „LIGHT“

KTM is renowned for the high quality, performance and reliability of
their 690 Rally Bikes. KTM’s most recent victory on the 690 Rally machi-
ne was the top podium place of the company’s KTM factory rider Marc
Coma in the Dakar 2009. KTM has clearly dominated the scene in rally
racing with the cult orange machines “Made in Austria” winning the
Dakar no less than eight consecutive times, as well as countless titles
in Rally World Championships, Baja races and national rally events.

Both KTM factory riders Coma and Cyril Despres, first and second in the
2009 Dakar, rode KTM 690 Rally bikes while many other riders were also
able to finish the world’s toughest rally onboard KTM 690 Rally bikes.

For the 2009 racing season, KTM Motorsport has developed a special Rally “Light”
Kit for specific rallies where it is not necessary to have the full tank capacity of the
standard KTM 690 Rally machine. The new front tank capacity is 10 litres while the
rear tank has an 18-litre capacity, the same as the standard model.

This new Rally Light Kit offers improved handling because the narrow tank gives
the rally bike the characteristics of an Enduro model, offering many advantages for
rallies with Enduro character and Enduro stages.

With the new Rally Light Kit you will be able to easily guide your rally bike through
the most challenging and selective Enduro-style passages!
