United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) study in


2012 showed that the usage of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) of
education in Malaysia tends to use word processing application as teaching aid.
The result of this study shows that there is a huge gap among educators to apply
ICT as their teaching aid. In reality, ICT has huge potential in leading learning and
critical thinking process. Besides that, the seventh shift in Malaysia Education
Blueprint 2013 2025 focuses on the usage of ICT in learning process.
Based on the above statement, discuss how application of ICT can be benefited by
teachers in teaching and learning process and in generating creative and critical
thinking.
