Spanish II: Unit 1

Project

For this project, you will design a Facebook page in Spanish to demonstrate your mastery of the unit 1
objectives. You will design a Facebook page including status updates, likes, friends, comments on
other students pages, etc. You will design this page over the course of the unit as we review certain
concepts. Your Facebook page must be neat, authentic, well-written with proper grammar and syntax
and include all of the required elements which are listed below.
Your Facebook page must include the following elements:

A section labeled (Biografa) which includes both a physical and personality description and
your interests.
o A minimum of three physical traits in complete sentences
o A minimum of two personality traits in complete sentences

A section labeled (Informacin) which includes:


o Tu escuela (Estudio en) / Where you go to school
o Dnde vives (Ciudad actual, ciudad de origen) / city of residence, city of birth
o La fecha de nacimiento (birth date, such as: el 19 de diciembre)
o Sexo (hombre o mujer)
o Idiomas (languages spoken, such as: ingls, espaol, etc.)
o Situacin sentimental (soltero/a, en una relacin con, es complicado)

A section labeled (Citas favoritas)- one or more favorite quotes/sayings in Spanish or English

A section labeled (Familia) Include at least two family members. For each family member
include the following:
o One sentence introducing him or her
o One sentence with two or more adjectives describing him or her
o One sentence saying what he or she likes to do.

A section labeled (Amigos) Include at least two friends. For each friend include the following:
o One sentence introducing him or her
o One sentence with two or more adjectives describing him or her
o One sentence saying what he or she likes to do

A section labeled (Me gusta)- post at least two Likes regarding items dealing with Spanish or
Latin American Culture such as (El canal de Panam, Machu Picchu, Juanes, etc.)

An area for your posts where you use the construction ir + a + infinitivo to tell everyone what
you are going to do. (Yo voy a) with at least two posts

An area for comments- you will have a space where other Spanish 2 students will comment on
your posts. You must comment on at least three other posts of other Spanish 2
students. Each comment must be two or more complete sentences long.
