    This newsletter provides an update on what students in Miss Harvey's second grade class will be learning in the coming weeks. They will be focusing on a reading theater project where students have been assigned characters from different plays. Parents are invited to a performance on February 2nd. In science, the class will conclude a unit on weather and start a new unit on how weather affects living things. In social studies, students will continue developing their map skills to identify US locations. In math, students will begin learning to solve regrouping problems like 23-14=9 in early February.
