I am pleased to welcome you and your child to the 8th grade at Bradford Academy Middle
School. My name is Shahrokh Aryan and I will be your childs math teacher this year. I am
thrilled to be a part of the 8th grade teaching team at Bradford Academy, and look forward to
meeting you and getting to know your child.
I have been working at Bradford Academy Middle School, as a Teacher Assistant and
teacher, since the 2009-2010 school year. Prior to that, I worked for General Motors for 26 years
in different capacities, from Electrical Engineer to Regional Information Technology Manager. I
have a Bachelor and Master degrees in Electrical Engineering, as well as a Master degree in
Business Administration. I received my teaching certificate from Wayne State University in
Mathematics Secondary Schools and Physics.
I have very high expectations for your child this year. I believe that your child has a
greater chance for success in school when parents and teachers work together. I look forward to
your support at home so that your child can reach his/her full potential.

your call within 24 hours. E-mail is another great way of keeping in touch with me, and our
grade-level website is a wonderful resource of current events and school announcements. Please
